Terms of Service for TargetCRM and Gmail Integration

1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TargetCRM Google integration, including integrations with Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive (“Google Services”).
By connecting your Google account to TargetCRM, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and the TargetCRM Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not connect your Google account.
2. Description of Services
TargetCRM is a cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) platform that offers optional integration with Google Services using Google OAuth. The integration enables features such as:
Email scanning and processing for CRM automation
Sending emails from CRM workflows
Calendar event creation and synchronization
Uploading CRM-related documents to Google Drive
All Google integrations are user-initiated and optional.
3. Eligibility
You must:
Be at least 18 years old
Have the legal authority to connect the relevant Google account
Comply with all applicable laws and Google terms
By using the integration, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
4. Account Responsibility & Security
You are responsible for:
Maintaining the confidentiality of your TargetCRM account credentials
Ensuring that only authorized users connect Google accounts
All activity that occurs through your connected Google account
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.
5. Google OAuth Integration
5.1 Permissions and Scope of Access
By connecting your Google account, you grant TargetCRM limited access to Google Services strictly as described in our Privacy Policy, including:
Reading unread Gmail messages from user-selected folders or labels
Sending emails on your behalf from within TargetCRM
Marking processed emails as read or labeled
Creating, updating, rescheduling, or cancelling Google Calendar events
Uploading CRM-related documents to app-created Google Drive folders
TargetCRM does not access Google Contacts or unrelated Google data.
5.2 User Control and Revocation
You may revoke Google access at any time through your Google Account settings or within TargetCRM. Revoking access will disable related features but will not affect your TargetCRM account unless you choose to close it.
5.3 Google API Compliance
TargetCRM’s use of Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is accessed solely to provide user-requested functionality and is never used for advertising, profiling, or resale.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Google integration only for lawful business purposes and not to:
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Misuse Gmail, Calendar, or Drive data
Attempt to access data beyond the authorized scope
Interfere with or disrupt the integration or Google Services
7. User Content and Data Ownership
You retain ownership of all content and data you upload or generate through TargetCRM.
By using the integration, you grant TargetCRM a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process such content solely for providing the services you have enabled.
8. Data Protection & Privacy
TargetCRM implements appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data. Our collection and use of data are governed by the TargetCRM Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
9. Third-Party Services
The Google integration relies on third-party services operated by Google. TargetCRM is not responsible for:
The availability or performance of Google Services
Changes to Google APIs or policies
Any interruptions caused by Google
Your use of Google Services remains subject to Google’s own terms and policies.
10. Fees and Subscription
Access to the Google integration may require an active TargetCRM subscription. Fees, billing cycles, and payment terms are governed by your subscription agreement or pricing plan.
11. Suspension and Termination
11.1 Termination by You
You may stop using the Google integration at any time by disconnecting your Google account or closing your TargetCRM account.
11.2 Termination by TargetCRM
We may suspend or terminate access to the integration if:
You violate these Terms
Required by law or Google policy
Continued access poses security or compliance risks
12. Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
Your access to the Google integration will cease immediately
TargetCRM will stop accessing Google data
Data handling will follow the retention and deletion practices outlined in our Privacy Policy
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Google integration is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and disclaim all warranties to the extent permitted by law.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TargetCRM shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Google integration.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold TargetCRM harmless from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:
Your misuse of the integration
Your violation of these Terms
Your breach of applicable laws or third-party rights
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
17. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of the integration after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
